Futurebuild 2019 is over, but the expertise and guidance to inspire Green Urbanisation continues.

Futurebuild 2019, the premier platform for professionals from across the construction industry, was host to over 500 industry-leading brands and more than 600 inspiring speakers.

We attended the Event to inspire Green Urbanisation within the industry, together with a Stand featuring a high-tech information hub and our team of specialists from across the industry, who shared topics to inspire future projects.

But don’t worry if you missed it, we’re still here to inspire you at polypipe.com/green-infrastructure

The go-to industry Design Guide. Yours to order

To help you get the best from your next project, our new comprehensive Design Guide – the go-to reference material created for the construction industry – is now available to order.

The benefits of GI

We’ve harnessed our knowledge, innovation and investment to design and engineer products and systems that make space for water, helping create green spaces, amenity and encourage biodiversity.

Our new Design Guide, launched at this year’s Futurebuild covers topics from how Blue-Green roofs and large canopy trees can help reduce Urban Heat Island effect whilst improving air quality within our built environments, to implementing intelligent soil design and installing Polypipe products to encourage a natural drainage system through a planted environment.

THE DESIGN GUIDE

Over two years in the making, the Design Guide features all the information you’ll need to design a sustainable project and includes technical product information, the multifunctional benefits of including Green Infrastructure to inspire Green Urbanisation, and the reasons why making space for water is as important now as it’s ever been.

Deeper thinking for elevated benefits

Polystorm Deep offers solutions for the deepest of excavations. At 9m, it’s able to sit 4m deeper than its rivals. It has a vertical compressive strength of 61 tonnes/m2 and lateral compressive strength of 14.6 tonnes/m2 – making it perfectly suited for high trafficked areas. And with its high 95% void ratio, it’s engineered to capture, treat, store and attenuate high volumes of stormwater run-off.

Causing a storm – and controlling it precisely

STORMCheck Vortex Flow Control offers power-free hydraulically efficient flow regulation. Self-activating, the unit controls the forward flow of water and is engineered to suit the unique hydraulic characteristics of the site’s drainage system design, offering effective protection from flooding as part of an overall SuDS system.
