Polypipe Building Products take on the National 3 Peaks Challenge!

Polypipe Building Products, and our friends from Manthorpe Building Products, Polypipe Building Services and Sustainable Building Solutions, are taking on the National Three Peaks to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA).

YAA is a dedicated helicopter emergency air ambulance for the Yorkshire and the Humber region of England. It was established in October 2000, and currently operates two Airbus H145 aircraft. It is an independent charity that relies solely on the donations of individuals and organisations which is why are team are taking on the challenge.

- Dan Love - Head of Commercial, Polypipe Building Products

- Adrian Bristow - Technical Director, Polypipe Building Products

- Tom Wilcock - Finance Director, Polypipe Building Products

- Amy Smith - Trade Channel Director, Polypipe Building Products

- Steve Nevins - Operations Director, Polypipe Building Products

- Chris Smith - Head of New Build, Polypipe Building Products

- Andy Cullum - Managing Director, Polypipe Building Services

- Paul Manning - Managing Director, Manthorpe Building Products

- Steve Currier - Managing Director, Sustainable Building Solutions

- Tony Brayford - Commercial Director, Sustainable Building Solutions

- Luke Richardson - Finance Director, Sustainable Building Solutions

 

The 16 strong team has a target of £10,000 to raise for their charity of choice, Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

 

To keep Yorkshire's Air Ambulances in the air, they need to raise £19,000 per day.

 

  • £4750 funds one mission.
  • £792 funds on hour of serious trauma medical care.
  • £264 funds a 20 minute flying session - the approximate flight time needed to reach 90% of Yorkshire's population.
