Polypipe was the official match sponsor for the League One football match, and Yorkshire derby, between Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City on Monday 19 March.
Both sides contributed to a hard-fought contest in difficult conditions, and as a proud long-standing sponsor of Doncaster Rovers we were thrilled for the team who ran out 2-0 winners, courtesy of two late goals.
With over 7,000 fans at the stadium, we were delighted to be able to take the opportunity to continue fundraising for our charity partner, Help for Heroes.
A number of fundraisers were at the match, along with the Help for Heroes mascot bear, who spent time meeting and greeting youngsters in the Donny Dog Kennel before the game.
All of those who kindly donated were added into a prize draw for a range of Help for Heroes gifts, as a thank you for their generosity.
This won’t be the last time the Hero Bear will be at a Rovers match, so keep your eyes peeled!
