Not many people realise that insulation is part of Polypipe’s product portfolio, which is why we wanted to highlight it during the month of July. Polypipe TDI manufactures a full range of insulated Damp Proof Courses and thermal insulation systems, designed to comply with the thermal resistance requirements of Part L Building Regulations.
Mark Devanney, National Development Manager for Polypipe TDI, told us of the range:
"Polypipe is always looking to add to its extensive range of building products to meet customer needs. One such product is Multicor Flexible, a reliable, easy to install cavity insulator, that has the Polypipe quality seal of approval."
Our specialist knowledge ensures that our products comply with all necessary building regulations, while our breadth of range covers a multitude of different applications - including solutions for open and closed cavities, party walls, loft hatches and specialist fire resistance options.
The month will be broken down into four sections, with each week focusing on a key part of TDI across our social platforms. To keep an eye on the posts, like or follow us in the following places:
Week One (2nd – 8th July) will focus on What? Where? Why? Explaining why insulation is so important and required, as part of the Part L building regulations (conservation of fuel and power).
Week Two (9th – 15th July) will look at Multicor cavity closers. An LABC approved product conforming to Part L building regulations.
Week Three (16th – 22nd July) is centred around fire proofing of open and closed cavities, highlighting the various types of fire integrity systems and acoustic cavity socks, tested by Exova Warrington Fire.
Week Four (23rd – 29th July) will look at Polypipe TDI’s new sub-frame system. A pre-made frame manufactured to the individual window aperture ready for installation on site.
